2025
Sieste Ensemble brought together an afternoon of music and visual art around the work of Amandine Masse, whose sculptural practice, rooted in memory, domestic objects, and the fragile boundary between souvenir and dream, set the tone for the day. Diplomée des Beaux-Arts de Paris, Masse works across sculpture, ceramics, weaving, and embroidery, drawing on traditional techniques learned in Provence and Ghana to explore how emotion continuously transforms our recollection of the real.

The afternoon opened with JCHSMPBNSAHG, a duo formed by Jade Giacometti and Ismahane Poussin, co-founders of Milieu Studio, whose live set of bizarro elucubrations and automatic writing gently accompanied the drift toward somnolence. ANABA followed, a neoclassical musician, singer-songwriter and synesthete who has played the harp since the age of seven — for her, music is above all a family history, a vocation passed from mother to daughter across four generations. The afternoon closed with Charlie 3000 b2b Rougail Space Program, navigating between dancehall, bass music, experimental club sounds and the most secret niches of independent electronic music.

As with each event, we developed the content and coordinated the production of a mediation journal including various games, freely distributed to participants and designed by Sarah Noth.
